Recent Programmes

This 6 week swimming programme for women will run from 27th October to 1st December in Thurles. Swimming in a group provides great motivation and you will meet swimmers of similar abilities to work on swimming techniques and strokes while also building distance.
The programme consists of one structured coaching session in lanes weekly with valuable feedback given and the provision of a beginners formal workout programme to follow a second session weekly at a time of your choice with the cost of this swim also covered in the price.

If you are looking for something to do on these rapidly darkening nights you can shorten the winter with this free walks program. It runs every Monday and Wednesday, starting on Monday 9th October at 7.30pm, meeting at Ardfinnan Community Hall

Get fresh air, meet the neighbours and unwind on country roads you never knew existed!

It will be dark so high viz jacket and head or hand torch are essential.

A SafeTALK “Suicide Alertness for Everyone” workshop will take place on Wednesday 11th October 2017 in the Abbey Court Hotel,Nenagh from 09.45am–2.00pm.

At this workshop, learn how to provide basic and practical help to persons with thoughts of suicide. It prepares you to be a suicide alert helper and provides you with the awareness that opportunities to help someone at risk are often missed, dismissed and avoided. It also teaches you the awareness of TALK steps (Tell, Ask, Listen and Keep-safe) and the ability to activate a suicide alert.

Tipperary Sports Partnership are running a Disability Inclusion Training course in association with the CARA Adapted Physical Activity Centre in Thurles Presentation Sports Complex on Saturday 20th May from 10am – 4:00pm.

Combination of indoor/outdoor exercise class.
More importantly no childcare is necessary because you train with your little bundle of joy in their buggy.
Classes take place at the Dr Pat O' Callaghan Complex, Cashel road, Clonmel every Friday morning from 10-11am.
