Community Sports Hub - Slalom Course

The Slalom Course located at Suir Island in Clonmel is the longest purposed built slalom course in Ireland.
It was officially opened in April 2017 and has already hosted National Competitions and training camps for the Irish Slalom Team.

The course is designed for 0.5 - 0.7 as the optimum height.

Around 0.8-0.9 gives a punchier wave on the weir and fatter eddies for teaching the top end of level 3 skills.
The waves in the middle of the course start to flush out at 0.9m

Above 0.9 the course starts to flush out and you get a decent flow of water going down the course.
